I works great for my 50 42 ft 5th wheel
I purchased this generator 18 Feb, 2020 because we got tired of living in the dark and throwing food out when the power was out for an extended time. Did a bit of research and this didn’t have many reviews but they were mostly good. I found it online for $799 and Lowes matched it! that was $300 less than the asking price.Having previously lived in a 5th-wheel we had 2 100# propane bottles and 2 30# propane bottles.We now have 4 100# bottles and usually have {depending on yard equipment needs} 20-25 gallons of gasoline. We live in the backwoods of south Arkansas and it isn’t unusual to lose power at least once a month for a day or two. The longest has been 11 days. last month we had a ice storm and lost power for 5 days. I haven’t put in a transfer switch yet. That’s low on the priority list. With extension cords we can power the large upright freezer, a large fridge, entertainment center with 55″ TV, 4G satellite booster, and lights for every room. In winter I put a 1500W space heater in a bathroom and the room we’re occupying. The generator has never even hiccuped. The only complaints I have is it is noisy, even after I enclosed it in a ventilated box. Another problem is it won’t refuel itself in the rain. The only maintenance I’ve done is prescribed oil changes, filter changes and I’ve needed to replace the battery once. The meter quit working just after the first year and Pulsar sent me a new one free. It was simple to replace I feel that I can safely wire in my central HVAC when I install the transfer switch. I’d .gladly buy another, probable one of the inverter ones.
