I use it when I go too long without enough sun to charge up the batteries enough. It has done a great job. I use both the 30a and 20a lines (not at same time) to charge the batteries and its made a huge difference on getting the batteries charged. Only thing I’d like to see is a bigger fuel tank and just a bit quieter. But it runs great!
Ran it thru a break in period, there was a little bit of manufacturing debris (non-metallic) so I changed the oil twice in the first 2 hours. No problems now. It’s QUIET, much less noise than the WEN inverter it replaced. Runs the camper AC just fine and you cannot hear it from inside. I just finished a week long trip to the beach and it pretty much never shut off other than to refuel. Oil is still pristine. One minor quibble, it needs to be on a raised platform to operate, a couple of paving stones or a piece of plywood would work. Otherwise the bottom of the housing collects dirt and sand.
Am looking for a wheel kit for the PGD 40iSCO. If anyone can help me please let me know. [****] .com
Runs heater tools fans ac just about anything very quiet light weight wish it held more fuel
Decibel test vs a 2200 size generator, the pulsar 4000 watt is slightly louder, but it actually seems quieter because it’s not as high pitched. Very happy with this generator, only wish it had a fuel gauge.
