Well worth the money
Installing a new kitchen and needed a quality hardware mounting tool. The plastic guides at the bigbox home stores are pure garbage! This tool made a job that would have taken days to do (over 40 pieces to install) able to be done in just a few hours.Drawers ranged from 18″ up to huge 42″ cookware drawers, all with different drawer heights. So having a properly calibrated tool maked the process easier for consistency.The only issue that I had was related to the Shaker Cabinet guides, the threaded portion could have been a bit longer as if you have thick frames it makes you barely have them threaded into the jig.As a helpful tip to keep the jig from moving especially when installing longer handles is to drill your first hole then insert a 2″ cabinet screw into the jig and into the door or drawer front. This will keep the jig from moving while you are drilling the second hole. Also when drilling use a piece of tape on the front and back of the cabinet to minimize blow out and scratches on the cabinet surfaces.

I used this tool to install over 88 handles across ours and mother in law’s house and I couldn’t have done it without this tool. Was gonna work with the cheap plastic one from HD but our drawers are Shaker style with recessed centers and too tall for the cheap template as well. This thing was easy to set and re-set and held position over dozens of drillings.Loved that we could pick the handle placement on the cabinets arbitrarily and trust that they would all be identical, left and right.Also found out almost all of our “same size” drawers varied by up to an 1/8″ but it was easy to get the handles centered on every one.
